Our 3-Year Plan

Year 1 (2023): Lay the groundwork 

  • Review and enhance the mission statement.
  • Empower and reinforce the board and volunteers.
  • Develop a preliminary strategic plan.
  • Identify potential schools and organizations for collaboration.
  • Start designing a high school STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) curriculum focused on equity and sustainability.
  • Generate innovative ideas for science and engineering kits and projects to enhance the curriculum.
  • Recruit and assemble a dedicated team for the newsletter.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Year 2 (2024): Pilot initiatives and expand outreach

  • Conduct a thorough review of the mission statement and make necessary adjustments for clarity and impact.

  • Pilot and refine the high school curriculum, monitoring for effectiveness and equity. 
  • Develop and implement science and engineering projects, with a focus on refining ideas, piloting initiatives, and scaling successful projects for broader impact.
  • Implement training sessions or workshops to further empower the board and volunteers.
  • Progress from the preliminary strategic plan to a more detailed and actionable document.

  • Strengthen existing partnerships and identify additional schools and organizations for collaboration.

  • Explore new avenues for funding, such as grants, partnerships, or community initiatives.

  • Develop a content calendar and distribution plan for the newsletter to consistently engage students, teachers, donors, and other interested parties.
  • Regularly review and update policies to ensure ongoing legal compliance.

Year 3 (2025): Evaluate experiences and develop long-term plans

  • Evaluate the overall impact of implemented programs and projects.
  • Implement improvements to programs and projects based on evaluations and stakeholder input.
  • Develop strategies to scale impactful initiatives to reach a broader audience.
  • Assess the sustainability of programs and projects.
  • Foster a sense of community among students, teachers, donors, and other interested parties.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders through newsletters, events, and updates.
  • Share insights within the organization and with the broader community.
  • Develop a forward-looking strategic plan based on lessons from the previous years.
  • Continuously enhance the monitoring and evaluation framework to ensure that it aligns with the organization’s evolving goals and objectives.

Year 1 (2023): $5,000.00

  • Solicit donations to cover application fees, website hosting services, and the prototyping of the initial two engineering kits.

Year 2 (2024): $25,000.00 to $50,000.00

  • Raise funds by offering up to five engineering kits.

Year 3 (2025): $50,000.00

  • Raise funds by offering up to ten engineering kits.
